Jean Daniel is a consultant in information systems, technology and new distribution channels (digital finance). He is familiar with the ecosystem of Mobile Banking for having worked on his feasibility study in Senegal and for his participation in his deployment to Côte d’Ivoire. He is familiar with financial and accounting information systems for auditing, advising and supporting several microfinance institutions in setting up their management information system. He also worked in the implementation of the Information System of the National Savings Bank of La Poste Sénégalaise from 2003 to 2005 and in the study and implementation of the postal check banking software in 2004. He is familiar with the organization of telecoms for managing the MEDIATION DEVICE project (communication system of the various telecom platforms, SWITCH, IN, etc.), WATCHDOG (fraud detection system), INOPAC interconnection) to SENTEL (2nd mobile operator in Senegal). He has strong technical and functional experience in Business Intelligence and has worked extensively with decision-making tools including COGNOS, MICROSOFT (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPMENT STUDIO). He is familiar with the organization of corporate information systems for his extensive work on process quality and risk management through the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) INOPAC (interconnection data valorisation system) to SENTEL (2nd mobile operator in Senegal). He has strong technical and functional experience in Business Intelligence and has worked extensively with decision-making tools including COGNOS, MICROSOFT (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPMENT STUDIO). Since joining PHB in 2014, Jean Daniel has accompanied the National Fund of Inclusive Finance (TOGO) in the feasibility study for the implementation of a Mobile-Banking project for financial inclusion. He accompanied the RMCR (MALI) in assessing his ability to do Mobile-Banking. He also accompanied PAMECAS (SENEGAL) for the strengthening of migrant savings and NYESIGISO (MALI) in the evaluation of the migrant savings valuation program.

Jean Daniel has worked on numerous projects to set up information systems for microfinance companies and institutions in Africa. He was Project Manager at the Institute for Development Research (Senegal) from 2000 to 2002, Head of IT Department at La Poste (Senegal) from 2003 to 2005, Head of IT and Planning at TIGO (Senegal) from 2005 to 2007 and then Manager of CEDAR INFORMATIQUE from 2007.

Jean Daniel holds a diploma in computer science from the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique in Dakar and a DESS in Information System and Networks from the François Rabelais University in Tours.
