Agriculture and displacement: PHB at UN Climate Conference

A plenary session on Wednesday 12 December

PHB is taking part in COP24 in Katowice, Poland, to highlight initiatives to support adaptation of agriculture and financial inclusion for displaced persons. Dialogue at this year’s UN Climate Conference has focused more on working together for adaptation, so that communities can be more resilient while working on the entire climate change issue.

Side events at the COP around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have included addressing needs of the displaced, food security and agriculture, peace building, gender inclusion, renewable energy and much more. PHB has been represented during the second week of these events to explore areas of potential cooperation in working toward the SDGs, especially in developing countries of Africa and Asia.
