Head of Project, Improving Access to Remittances and other Financial Services through Digital Solutions, GIZ – The German Development Cooperation, Jordan

Katharina is heading the GIZ-supported Digi#ances project which aims at bringing digital financial services to unbanked Jordanians and Syrian refugees in Jordan. Prior to moving to Jordan in January 2016, Katharina has worked for more than 5 years in Mozambique, focusing on mobile money and agent banking, as well as community-based financial services in rural areas.

Katharina holds a Master of Science in Political Economy of Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK
